Chapter . 1
The Castle That Never Was.
‘I wonder what Xemnas wants with me?’ That was the main thought going through my head as I entered our Meeting room. He hadn’t given out any details when he let us know who he wanted to see earlier, so I was a tad confused. As I sat in one of the nearby chairs, I noticed the other members who seemed to have been commandeered. Xigbar: The Freeshooter, Zexion: The Cloaked Schemer, Luxord: The Gambler of Fate, and Larxene: The Savage Nymph. Hmm. That’s certainly an interesting little group Hold that thought. Xemnas just started talking.

“I have called you all here for a debriefing.”

“So we’re going on a mission then?”

Zexion never was one to beat around the bush.

“What kind of mission?”

“If you will let me finish, I’ll let you know.”

“Sorry sir. Continue.”

“Thank you. As I was saying, I have a mission for you all. Number X has recently been contacted by an old friend who is asking for help. I think that the risk is worth it. We, as an organization, could certainly use an ally. Number II and X have already consented to going. However, you three have yet to have your say in the matter.”

“How good of a friend are we talking about Luxord?”

Nice question Larx. That’s exactly what I was wondering.

“I’ve known him since we were little. We’ve been friends since we were wee Lads.”

“Where exactly would we be going on this mission?”

Another good question Zex.

“Well, Technically we’d be staying in Port Royal.”

“Port Royal? As in Drunken Pirates and practically no authority what so ever, Port Royal?”

“Technically.”

Poor Lux. You  really shouldn’t have said that.

“You have got to be kidding..” “There is NO way I’m..”

“That’s Enough! I don‘t want to hear anymore complaints out of you. I mean it! Now if you don‘t want to go on the mission you‘ll have to give me a good reason.”

The Superior is good. He got them both to be silent. Granted. Larx is glaring daggers and Zex looks seriously less than thrilled at the idea, but they’re silent nonetheless.

“Aw, Come on Dudes! It’s not that bad.”

Poor Xiggy. You’re fighting a losing battle there. Oh look. They’re looking at me for my opinion now.
“Xig’s right.”
Heh, I can see them mentally gasp at my declaration as I continued.
“I mean, What’s so bad about going to a place where people are just waiting to beat the crap out of you.”
Me use Sarcasm? Never! Heh. I could hear Xemnas sigh as he turned to Luxord, who had been oddly quiet throughout everyone’s complaints.

“Are you sure that you’re friend can be trusted X?”

“Yes sir. He would not have contacted me if he didn’t need our help.”

Apparently, Luxord sensed danger because he had moved towards the door while talking. Smart man. The Organization members could be rather scary when Angry, and the way Larxene’s face looked right this moment would have been enough to make Saix, resident berserker, run away cautiously.  Seeing this I sighed quietly. He obviously wasn’t comfortable with asking us to help him help his friend. Ultimately, it was that that made up my mind. Smiling slightly, I stood up.
“You know what? I think that Xigbar and Luxord are right.”

“YOU WHAT?!?”

Was that shock I heard? Why yes, Yes it was.
I smiled indignantly as I spoke.
“If we can help Lux’s friend then I think we should! You never know when we might need to cash in a favor.”
I looked at Zexion for his opinion and I saw that his eyes were  downward. He seemed to be musing the situation over in his head, when he sighed in defeat and smiled at me.

“Well. When you put it that way……it would most likely benefit us, so I suppose that I could tolerate Port Royal for a little while.”

I smiled hugely as I spoke.
“Yay! I knew you’d come around Zex!”
Out of the corner of my eye I noticed that Luxord had; moved closer to The Superior’s desk during mine and Zex’s conversation, and received a high-five and a little  “Yes.” from The Freeshooter. As I was seated in front of  The Superior, I noticed him smile slightly at II and X’s actions. He cleared his throat.

“You still need XII to agree before I can authorize any missions.”
I HAD his thoughts italicised, but I don't think that it's going to show up. Sorry.
